Upcoming Parent Events

I care a lot about raising a generation of resilient kids, and I help facilitate both virtual and local events in Georgia.

Here are a few upcoming events, if you'd like to get involved:

October 21st | Protecting Youth in the Digital Age: Expert Panel (Virtual)

How do we keep our kids safe online? This is one of the most important questions parents are asking themselves today.

Hear directly from an expert panel who will share unique insights on the specific risks youth face online, the impact on mental health, and strategies for protection, featuring:

October 28th | K- 2nd Parent Dinner (Suwanee, GA)

Hosted by fellow Level Creek parents, this casual Jeffersonian-style dinner is a chance to join a community conversation about the power of play in childhood, and how we can empower our kids to become more independent as they grow.

Unlike a traditional speaker or panel event, parents will participate in facilitated small-group discussions guided by curated questions. You'll have the opportunity to share experiences, listen, and explore actionable ways to foster independence, resilience, and well-being in our kiddos.  Whether you're looking for new ideas or simply want to connect with other parents, this evening will provide fresh perspectives, new connections, and practical takeaways from fellow parents in our community.

Because space is limited, we kindly ask for firm commitments only, and each attending parent must register. Dinner will be provided free of charge by a local business partner.

Date: October 28th (6-8:00pm)

Nov 2nd | Documentary Screening (Virtual)

Join us for a virtual screening and community discussion of the documentary Screenagers: The Next Chapter on Sunday, November 2nd, from 2:00-4:00 PM ET.

This powerful film goes beyond screen time to explore the impacts of the digital age on youth mental health and emotional well-being. Following the film, we will have an optional, facilitated discussion to help us all connect and navigate these important conversations.
